"We Like the Graffiti"
RESER (IT) SWET (DK)
Exhibition: April 4th - 18:00
DRIPS CPH - Lille Kirkestræde 3 - 1072 Copenhagen K
At DRIPS CPH and FREESPACE, we are incredibly proud to open the doors to Copenhagen's brand-new gallery—a space where we aim to do things differently than traditional galleries. We are especially honored that two true graffiti legends will be the first to exhibit with us.
This duo exhibition has finally become a reality for RESER nd SWET. They frequently collaborate on various projects, but this show is entirely their creation and vision—from the body of work (canvases, sketches, and silkscreens made exclusively for this exhibition) to the venue where it will be held.
Both RESER and SWET have influenced multiple generations within the graffiti art movement and are widely recognized and respected in the global graffiti scene. "We Like the Graffiti" is a playful phrase meant to bring a smile to your face, just as meeting the artists RESER and SWET does. They turn their hard work into something fun and beautiful.
Both artists will be present at the opening on Friday, April 4th, 2025.
We welcome you all to "We Like the Graffiti", featuring Italian artist RESER and Danish artist SWET!
RESER
Born in Turin, 1974.
"I started painting in the summer of 1994, inspired by the walls and artworks along the railways during my train travels to Paris and Amsterdam. At that time, graffiti was rare in Turin… but one night, I was lucky enough to meet Spyder, one of the early writers in the city's graffiti scene. From that day on, I never turned my back on the spray can!
I have been a member and founder of TOT’s crew since 1997, as well as a part of Love Letters, an international graffiti crew."
SWET
Since the 1980s, SWET has been an undeniable presence in the international graffiti scene, influencing new generations with his highly polished artworks. Known for his lively letters and colorful masterpieces, SWET continues to impress in an ever-evolving graffiti landscape.
Born in Denmark in 1971, he had his first graffiti experience in 1985.
